Designing a "Charleston" Style home from a Existing Victorian Style home

Front Elevation
Here was the challenge...to take an existing Victorian style home and transfer in into an Charleston style home by exterior features.
I started with adding exterior front and side porches, both downstairs and upstairs. The rear of the house has a wonderful lake view, but with an existing two story masonry fireplace, so once removing that, we are adding more exterior views from the family room on the main level and also from the master bedroom on the second level. We also added a walk-out balcony on the back of the office upstairs to get views to the lake. This project is still in the design phase until we get some more construction cost together, but I feel this will be a wonderful project once it gets started. We'll keep you updated on the progress.
